Always full of suprises

The thing that God as my Father does that is so amazing to me, is how much He suprises me.  God is never suprised, He is always in control and knows everything that is happening and will happen and all things work together for His glory and our good...see Romans 8:28....but I can not always see how things are working together.  My heart and mind get stuck in the here and now and the here and now are not always what my heart desires.  There are many changes that take place in our journey's, some we enjoy with much excitement....and others can seem quiet devastating and even bring us to despair.  I have experienced both in my walk, however, what I am finding more and more is no matter what changes come our way, good or bad....God is in all of it and I find much comfort and courage as I have experienced both and have found Him faithful and loving and patient with my inpatience.  The circumstances did not necessarily change but He did something more wonderful than that....He changed my heart to see them differently so that I could find His purpose and joy in those circumstances.  I just praise God for His wonderful suprises.

New to the Blog

I really have no idea what I'm doing, but I hope to share through this blog ways that God shows His love and grace to me in so many ways.  I hope to make much of my Jesus through this blog and encourage others in their walk with Him.  My heart and passion is that all peoples will know the love and mercy and grace God has for each and every person that will trust in Jesus Christ as their personal savior and how when we truly die to ourselves and allow Christ to live in and through us then Life truly begins for every believer.  We have all fallen short and are in a sinful state that keeps us from knowing God and experiencing what we were created for and that is to know God in a personal relationship and to worship Him and experience the depth of His love for us.  There is nothing we can do on our own to overcome the sin that is in our lives, but God made the way for us to overcome that sin through the death of His Holy and Righteous Son Jesus Christ.  And when we believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is the Son of God that He died for our sins and was raised again on the third day, then God will forgive you of your sins and you will be adopted into His family as His child, forever.  So if you have never trusted in Christ my first blog would be to invite you to repent of your sin and believe in Jesus Christ and trust in the complete work He has done on the cross for you.

By His mercy and grace,
Daughter of the King
